Homero Zamorano, 45, was arrested in San Antonio after he abandoned a tractor-trailer and he was seen fleeing the area. As reported by Express News he has “addresses in Houston and the Rio Grande Valley. ‘He was very high on meth when he was arrested nearby and had to be taken to the hospital’ law enforcement officer said”.

They were able to trace the semitruck to a home in Bexar County and put the house on surveillance. Two men, Juan Francisco D’Luna-Bilbao and Juan Claudio D’Luna-Mendez were seen leaving in a truck. Authorities stopped the truck and one of them confessed to having a weapon in the vehicle. After the confession they were able to get a search warrant for the home where they also found more guns.

Zamorano may appear in federal court on human smuggling charges after “51 migrants from Mexico and Central America were found in the abandoned tractor trailer”. Click here to read the full story.
