Garden City, Georgia – On Apr 18, 2022 around 8:30am, officers received a report of someone attempting to steal a semi. When they arrived, the suspect was inside the vehicle along with a firearm. He refused to exit the semi.
At one point, the suspect allegedly fired his gun. Garden City Police were assisted by the Savannah Police SWAT Team as well as a Port Wentworth Officer. Officers in turn returned fire. The suspect was later taken into custody.
