CDL-A Power Only Contractor Equipment Requirements:

  • Single or tandem axle tractor with sleeper that is 2000-year model or newer
  • Current annual DOT inspection must be within 30 days
  • Sliding fifth wheel
  • Headache rack (optional)
  • 4-inch by 30-foot straps (6) with 6 ratchets
  • 20-foot 5/16 grade 70 chain (6)
  • ELD and Dashcam required
  • Emergency triangles and Fire extinguisher

CDL-A Power Only Contractor Truck Driver Requirements:

  • Class A license
  • Must have 1 (one) year of verified driving experience within the last 7 years
