										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dennis Sikorski of Bancroft, Wisconsin, earned the Trucker&#8217;s Choice Award at the 48th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree with his blue 1995 Peterbilt 362 cabover and matching 2007 Great Dane reefer trailer, <em>Old School &amp; Flat Broke</em>.</p>
<p>The Trucker&#8217;s Choice Award is selected by fellow competitors, making it one of the event&#8217;s most respected honors. Sikorski also earned first place in the Custom Paint: Combination category with the same truck and trailer combination.</p>
<h1><strong>More Than 30 Categories Recognized</strong></h1>
<p>The annual awards ceremony recognized drivers and owners across more than 30 categories, honoring everything from working trucks and show trucks to custom paint, graphics, interiors, lighting, and specialty vehicles.</p>
<p>The competition featured a broad mix of equipment, including classic cabovers, restored conventionals, owner-operator trucks, company trucks, and specialty vehicles from across the United States and Canada.</p>
<h2><strong>Multiple Exhibitors Collected Top Awards</strong></h2>
<p>Several competitors earned multiple awards during this year&#8217;s competition.</p>
<p><strong>Dawson and Bobbie Taylor</strong> of Cameron, North Carolina, with <em>Roll of the Dice</em>, a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia:</p>

<li>1st Place: Working Truck: 2022–2016 Bobtail Conventional</li>
<li>1st Place: Custom Graphics: Bobtail</li>
<li>1st Place: Interior/OEM Sleeper: Bobtail</li>
<li>2nd Place: Lights at Night/Bobtail: Theme</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Michael and Jackie Wallace</strong> of Ashville, Alabama, with <em>Semper Fi</em>, a 2007 Freightliner Coronado and 2014 Great Dane van trailer:</p>

<li><strong>Working Truck: 2026–2021 Combination</strong> — Ken Oligschlaeger of St. Elizabeth, Missouri, with a 2025 Kenworth W900 and 2025 Great Dane trailer.</li>

<p>From working trucks that spend their days on the road to meticulously restored classics and custom-built show trucks, the Walcott Truckers Jamboree once again highlighted the craftsmanship and pride that drivers and owners bring to the industry. With competitors recognized across more than 30 award categories, the annual event continues to be one of trucking&#8217;s best-known celebrations of trucks and the people behind them.</p>
