]]> Truckers hitting the road have more reasons to stop at Pilot, Flying J, and One9 locations. Since July, Pilot has completed curb-to-counter renovations at 14 travel centers across 11 states and provinces, upgrading facilities to serve professional drivers better.

“These updates make stops faster, easier, and more comfortable for drivers,” a company spokesperson said.

Truck drivers can now access maintenance services at over 90 Southern Tire Mart at Pilot locations nationwide. Six new sites include:

  • STMP #50 – Sulfur, Kentucky
  • STMP #746 – Salt Lake City, Utah
  • STMP #1319 – Burleson, Texas
  • STMP #705 – Sayre, Oklahoma
  • STMP #1382 – Hudson, Colorado

Digital Upgrades for a Smoother Stop

Pilot is rolling out mobile ordering at select locations, aiming to have it available at nearly 400 centers by the end of 2025. Drivers can also navigate the updated Pilot website at PilotCompany.com, featuring a fresh design and streamlined content for easier trip planning.

Additionally, the award-winning myRewards Plus app is now the Pilot app, keeping loyalty programs, shower and parking reservations, mobile fueling, and personalized offers all in one intuitive platform.

]]> Sheetz, the well-known Mid-Atlantic restaurant and convenience chain, has officially expanded its footprint in Ohio with the opening of a new location at 13175 Deshler Road in North Baltimore. This store marks Sheetz’s third location in the Toledo area.

Key Features for Truckers

Specifically designed with truck drivers in mind, the North Baltimore store offers convenient access from Interstate 75 and features amenities tailored to long-haul operators. Highlights include:

  • 43 overnight truck parking spaces
  • Seven high-flow diesel fuel lanes
  • Availability of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF)

This latest store complements the first two Toledo-area Sheetz locations, which opened in September.

Grand Opening Celebration

The store’s grand opening festivities will kick off Wednesday morning, starting at 9 a.m. Customers can look forward to exciting giveaways, including the highly anticipated “Free Sheetz for a Year” grand prize. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10:45 a.m.

Community Impact

Sheetz’s commitment to the community shines through with its $2,500 donation to the Toledo Northwestern Ohio Foodbank, which serves eight surrounding counties, including Lucas, Defiance, and Wood. Additionally, Sheetz contributed $2,500 to the Special Olympics of Ohio, further emphasizing its dedication to supporting impactful organizations in the region.
