]]> An 18-wheeler slammed into a pillar of the Malcom X Boulevard bridge in Dallas on Monday, ripping open the trailer and spilling over 30,000 pounds of eggs onto the westbound lanes of I-30.

The accident occurred around 4:00 a.m. and left the highway shut down for hours as crews worked to clean up the sticky roadway.

The driver of the truck was not injured in the crash.
