Truck drivers running routes through northeastern Oklahoma have a new stop available along U.S. Highway 169. TravelCenters of America recently opened a TA Express in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, near the Oklahoma and Kansas state line.

The location is positioned along a corridor used by both regional and long-haul trucking operations. According to the company, the site was developed to provide additional fueling, food, and driver services for traffic moving through the area.

Fueling Access for Drivers

The travel center includes four diesel fueling lanes equipped with diesel exhaust fluid. This allows drivers to handle fuel and DEF needs before continuing along their route.

Truck Parking Availability

Parking continues to be one of the most common concerns for drivers planning their stops. The South Coffeyville TA Express offers 40 truck parking spaces, giving drivers another option when looking for a place to park during a break or overnight rest.

Food and Retail Options

Drivers stopping at the location will find several food choices. Current dining options include The Stuffed Burrito Company, with Golden Chick expected to open soon. The site also includes an on-site deli along with a retail store that carries snacks, beverages, and travel items.

Driver Amenities

In addition to food and fuel, the travel center includes several services intended to support drivers during long trips. These include showers, laundry facilities, and a driver’s lounge.

A New Stop Along a Regional Trucking Route

With its placement along U.S. Highway 169 at the Oklahoma-Kansas border, the new TA Express adds another service location for drivers moving freight through the region. For many drivers planning routes through Oklahoma and southern Kansas, the new stop provides another place to fuel, park, and take a break before heading back on the road.

Pilot is making big moves across North America—expanding its reach, modernizing its travel centers, and stepping into the future with alternative fuels. In just the past few months, the company has opened multiple new locations and completed renovations at key sites, reinforcing its role as a go-to destination for professional drivers.

New Travel Centers Added Across the U.S. and Canada

Pilot’s latest additions include a mix of new builds and dealer locations that continue to strengthen its coast-to-coast presence. Drivers can now pull into:

Pilot #1439 in Port Allen, Louisiana

Pilot #1382 in Hudson, Colorado

Xpress Fuel #1312 in Vinton, Texas

Shell Flying J #851 in Monte Creek, British Columbia

Two new dealer-operated Pilots in Perris, California, and Cedar Grove, Wisconsin

These locations add more convenience and coverage for long-haul and regional drivers alike.

Travel Center Upgrades That Go Beyond the Basics

It’s not just about new openings—Pilot is investing in the experience at many of its existing sites. Eleven locations were remodeled during Q2, offering better amenities, updated layouts, and an overall improved stop for drivers.

Fort Pierce, FL (Pilot #90)

Benton, AR (Pilot #118)

Klamath Falls, OR (Pilot #504)

Madera, CA (Pilot #365)

Chemult, OR (Pilot #133)

Paducah, KY (Pilot #358)

Plymouth, IN (Pilot #198)

Erie, PA (Pilot #311)

Pearl, MS (Flying J #678)

Ogden, UT (Flying J #744)

Clint, TX (Xpress Fuels #1262)

Each of these sites now reflects a higher standard of comfort, safety, and service that drivers count on when they’re away from home.

Leading the Way with Biodiesel

Pilot is also taking a forward-looking step by making clean fuel more accessible to the trucking community. Two of its travel centers—located in Decatur, Illinois, and Des Moines, Iowa—are now home to the country’s first retail B99 biodiesel pumps for commercial drivers. That means lower emissions without sacrificing performance.

Putting Drivers and Guests First

“We are going the extra mile this summer to ensure we continue to create exceptional experiences for the over 1.2 million guests we serve every day,” said Brad Anderson, president, retail at Pilot. “Our purpose is showing people they matter at every turn, and that starts with our team members working across our network and continues with our investments in retail, to grow and update our industry-leading network of stores to meet the needs of our guests and the communities we serve.”
