The Knoxville-based nonprofit organization, St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, has reported offering over $5 million in aid to more than 4,000 professional drivers since its inception. All proceeds from the recent auction will directly contribute to extending this impactful mission.

Additionally, contributions were raised during Shell Rotella’s special “Thank-A-Trucker” recording studio event at MATS, with further support from Love’s Travel Stops, which matched these donations dollar-for-dollar.

“I want to extend a truckload of gratitude to the generous donors and dedicated volunteers who made our silent auction and booth activities such a success,” said Norita Taylor, president of the St. Christopher Fund and director of public relations for OOIDA. “Your support, along with the participation of the auction winners, helped us raise the funds that will continue to fuel our mission. Thank you for being a part of something truly special.”

According to Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley, this change will enhance the overall experience for attendees.

A Mission of Hope

The convoy, held at the Manheim Pennsylvania Auto Auction, serves as a major fundraiser for Make-A-Wish, supporting their mission to grant wishes for children battling critical illnesses. The event’s impact extends far beyond raising funds; it brings hope, joy, and unforgettable memories to families throughout the Susquehanna Valley.

The convoy welcomes trucks weighing 26,001 pounds or more, with smaller trucks able to join at the end of the lineup. For drivers interested in joining, you can find more details here.

The new date also reflects recommendations from the event’s safety committee, which prioritizes adequate safety measures and volunteer support throughout the day. Organizers are confident this adjustment will help maintain safety as a top priority while making this treasured event even more successful.

• Driver Parking & Registration

Time: 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., Saturday, May 10

Location: Manheim Pennsylvania Auto Auction

• Event Activities

Family entertainment and activities kick off at 9 a.m.

Family Fest includes games, food trucks, entertainment, basket raffles, and an online auction.

Parking and admission are FREE.

• Convoy Departure

The trucks roll out at 1:30 p.m., embarking on a 26-mile route through Lancaster County, with many lucky kids riding along for the unforgettable experience.

This year introduces a special quiet viewing zone along Cloverleaf Road. This tranquil space allows spectators to enjoy the convoy without the usual truck noise, creating a peaceful environment to watch and cheer on the convoy as it passes.
