Hosted by the Bennett Family of Companies in collaboration with Tony Justice, this patriotic celebration of trucks, freedom, and community is shaping up to be one of the most exciting events of the year.

Every gleaming rig and polished chrome detail on display will support a cause that touches hearts across the country. All proceeds from the event will benefit Wreaths Across America, helping ensure that every one of the 20,700 gravesites at Andersonville National Cemetery is honored with a wreath this Christmas season.

Event Highlights

National Truck Show Championship

Top drivers and custom builders from across the nation will go head-to-head in the National Truck Show Championship for the title of “World’s Most Beautiful Truck.” These stunning builds showcase the dedication, creativity, and craftsmanship that define America’s trucking culture.

Big Rig, Jeep, and Motorcycle Show

From show-stopping rigs to custom bikes and Jeeps, this year’s lineup features vehicles that celebrate the spirit of the open road. The event also introduces a new open class division that welcomes everything from golf carts and 4x4s to street rods and more.

Tony Justice Live in Concert

Wreaths Across America Golf Ball Drop

One of the most anticipated fundraisers of the weekend, the Golf Ball Drop lets participants purchase numbered golf balls that will be released from a Huey helicopter hovering above the track. The ball landing closest to the pin wins a cash prize, with all proceeds supporting Wreaths Across America.

Camping at EchoPark Speedway

Stay close to the excitement with full hook-up RV camping in the Club One Camping Area. Spots are $50 per night and can be reserved by calling the EchoPark Speedway Ticket Office at 770-946-4211. Make sure to mention Stars, Stripes, and White Lines when booking.

We’re midway through Truck Driver Appreciation Week, and companies across the country are stepping up to recognize the men and women who keep freight moving and store shelves stocked. From free meals to discounts and special celebrations, drivers are being reminded just how vital their work is.

DAT Hosts BBQ Events in South Dakota

On Sept. 15 and 16, DAT Freight & Analytics welcomed drivers in South Dakota with free BBQ meals as part of its annual show of appreciation. The events took place at Coffee Cup Fuel Stops in Brandon and Hartford, where drivers could grab a meal from the Backyard BBQ food truck, pick up DAT swag, and connect with representatives.

DAT also used the events to highlight its partnership with the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, an organization that supports drivers and their families when medical challenges prevent them from being on the road.

“DAT’s success is built on the work and dedication of owner-operators, small carriers, and their truck drivers,” said Jeff Clementz, DAT President and CEO. “Freight doesn’t move, and our business simply wouldn’t exist without them. These events are our way of saying thank you.”

Circle K Offers Free Drinks Nationwide

Circle K Pro is showing appreciation by offering drivers five free drinks through its Inner Circle rewards program. From Sept. 14–20, professional drivers can redeem the code DRIVERWEEK25 in the Circle K app under Account > Redeem Code to access the deal. Options include Polar Pop (up to 44 oz), Froster, or Hot/Iced Coffee, with one redemption available per day at participating locations. It’s a simple way for drivers to grab a well-earned refreshment while on the road.

C.H. Robinson Announces Awards Today

In Minneapolis, C.H. Robinson is marking this week by honoring its 2025 Carrier of the Year Award winners, with names revealed today, Sept. 17. The awards highlight carriers of every size, from small family operations to large fleets, for consistently delivering exceptional service.

Alongside the award ceremony, the company is spreading appreciation nationwide. Drivers are receiving thank-you gift boxes with handwritten notes from employees at locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, and Columbus, Ohio.

WEX Offers Fuel Savings for Drivers

Fuel remains one of the biggest expenses for truckers, and WEX is offering relief during this appreciation week. Through Sept. 20, drivers using the 10-4 by WEX app can access a special sign-on bonus of $25 off their first 75-gallon fuel purchase.

The app, designed to give small carriers and independent truckers access to discounts usually reserved for large fleets, is accepted at thousands of locations across the country, including Love’s, Circle K, TA, Petro, Speedway, and more.

Port of Long Beach Thanks Drivers with Food and Gifts

On Sept. 16, the Port of Long Beach hosted an appreciation event for drivers who move freight through its busy harbor. Free breakfast and lunch were provided, along with port-branded gifts. The event also featured representatives from the California Air Resources Board, who offered on-site testing and guidance on Clean Truck Check requirements.

A Week to Remember

As Truck Driver Appreciation Week continues, one thing is clear — the industry is rallying to ensure drivers feel valued. Whether it’s a hot meal, a discount at the pump, or a simple thank-you note, these gestures reflect the respect and gratitude that professional drivers have earned.

Attention drivers! Here’s an opportunity to get active, make a difference, and improve your health at the same time. The Route 66 Virtual Route Challenge officially kicks off on May 22, aimed at supporting veterans.

What is the Challenge?

Dubbed the “Miles for Veterans—Route 66 Virtual Route Challenge,” this 2,200-mile virtual fitness event invites participants from across the country to a nostalgic and meaningful adventure. By walking or running, participants will virtually travel along historic Route 66 while honoring veterans, promoting wellness, and celebrating the rich heritage of this legendary highway.

This historic road, often referred to as the “Main Street of America,” has played a significant role in both the trucking industry and military history. Since its inception in 1926, Route 66 has served as a crucial commercial artery, connecting communities and facilitating the movement of goods across the United States.

Veterans and the Trucking Industry

The trucking industry has long been intertwined with the experiences of veterans, many of whom transition into truck-driving careers after completing their service. With approximately 18 million veterans in the U.S. currently working as truck drivers, they continue to uphold values of resilience and dedication, driving the economy forward.

This unique connection between veterans and Route 66 inspired Rolling Strong President Steve Kane to develop this virtual walk/run initiative. The event not only encourages participants to stay physically active but also raises much-needed funds for Waypoint Vets, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the well-being of military veterans.

Supporting Waypoint Vets

Waypoint Vets, founded by veteran Sara Lee, offers life-changing adventures that help veterans reconnect with themselves and foster lasting bonds with others who have served. These carefully designed experiences allow veterans to share their stories, heal, and grow in an understanding and supportive environment.

The “Miles for Veterans” challenge unites organizations like Rolling Strong and FIT DRIVERS to support Waypoint Vets’ mission. By participating in this fitness challenge, you’ll be part of an effort to raise awareness of veterans’ issues while also celebrating Route 66’s historic significance.

Get Ready to Join

Mark your calendars for May 22! This is your chance to make every step count for a meaningful cause. Stay tuned for details on how to register. Together, participants can walk or run to honor veterans and promote health and wellness across the nation.

Challenge yourself to make a difference while taking a virtual trip down memory lane on America’s most iconic highway!
