Job Description

Driver Trainers/Instructors Needed – Fleet Operations – Driver and Instructor

Instruct and mentor driver trainees

Must be an experienced and safe CDL A driver

Inspect trucks for safety and maintenance needs

Communicate with dispatch and customers

Develop an efficient loading and unloading system

Capable, skilled drivers needed to instruct new trainees on everything from loading to logging the journey. Build a team, manage successes, AND get your miles along the way!

Responsibilities

  • Pick up cargo from loading terminal
  • Ensure minimal load shifting in trailers
  • Guarantee cautious driving
  • Develop an efficient routing and loading/unloading system
  • Verify prompt and accurate delivery
  • Ensure E-Logs are correct, and train new drivers acordingly
  • Actively pursue excellent working relationship with customers

Additional Responsibilities

  • Drive an average of 2,500–3,000 miles/week and operate motor vehicle during high traffic situations; must be willing to spend long and irregular periods away from home, including holidays. May experience long and irregular hours driving a tractor trailer
