This is not your typical driving job. While a CDL with Hazmat & Tanker is required, 90–95% of your work is outside the truck performing hands‑on locomotive fueling. You’ll be fueling locomotives and supporting critical rail operations—not just driving.

Position Details
- Location: Elko, NV
- Home Time: Home daily
- Equipment: Automatic tractor‑tanker
- Shift Structure: On‑call during your 12‑hour shift; paid the full shift regardless of dispatch volume
- Work Environment: Outdoor role in railyard supporting locomotive fueling operations
Key Responsibilities
- Safely refuel locomotives according to strict railroad procedures
- Perform hands‑on work outside the truck 90%+ of the time
- Complete required diesel accounting and shift documentation
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections
- Maintain fueling equipment and vehicle cleanliness
- Respond promptly to railroad dispatches during scheduled shift (12‑hour paid on‑call window)
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A
- Hazmat (H) + Tanker (N) endorsements
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Meet all DOT, company, and customer background requirements
