CDL-A Hopper Bottom Truck Driver – OTR

OTR Hopper Bottom Job Responsibilities Include:
-Operate a CDL-A Hopper Bottom combination vehicle safely and efficiently.
-Transport bulk agricultural or commodity materials OTR.
-Conduct proper pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
-Maintain accurate electronic logs and required documentation.
-Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers.
-Follow all FMCSA and company safety policies without exception.
Pay Structure
-Starting at .60 CPM
-Up to .04 CPM monthly bonus
-Paid weekly
-Set detention, layover, breakdown & weather delay pay
-Annual raises of ½ cent after your anniversary
Anniversary & Holiday Pay
-1–3 years: $850
-4–5 years: $1,700
-6+ years: $2,550
-Major holidays: $225/holiday
Home Time (Varies by Area)
-Out 3 weeks → Home 4–5 days
-Out 4 weeks → Home 6 days
-Out 5 weeks → Home 7+ days

Rider & Pet Policy
Pets: $500 deposit ($50/week for 10 weeks)

Minimum Requirements
-Minimum 12 months of verified OTR experience.
-If OTR experience is more than 5 years past, must have 12 months of other recent professional driving experience.
-Must be 23 years or older.
-Valid CDL-A.
-Must possess proper endorsements required for position (Hazmat/Tanker not required for Hopper)
-No more than 3 jobs in the past 12 months.
Crash & Violation Standards
-No more than 3 preventable crashes in the past 3 years.
-No serious or disqualifying crashes (rollovers, jackknifes, at-fault rear-ends, head-ons, or any crash involving a fatality citation) in the past 3 years.
-No more than 3 moving violations in 3 years; no more than 2 in the past 12 months.
-No serious violations such as reckless driving, 15+ MPH over, improper lane changes, following too closely, handheld device use, or driving a CMV without proper CDL/endorsements.
Drug & Alcohol
-No drug or alcohol-related convictions within the past 5 years.
-No reckless driving convictions within the past 5 years.
Screening Requirements
-Background checks (per EEOC & FCRA).
-MVR & PSP review.
-Employment verification.
-Road test.
