Love’s Travel Stops recently rewarded 96 skilled diesel technicians and mechanics with over $520,000 in lifetime achievement bonuses for their outstanding careers in billed repair labor.
An exciting new initiative, this new bonus program acknowledges the expertise of their top techs in light mechanical repairs on commercial trucks.
“This new incentive for our dedicated team members in our shops is like none other in the industry,” said Gary Price, executive vice president for Love’s. “At a time when there’s high demand for skilled diesel technicians and mechanics, our light mechanical bonuses will reward our employees for their hard work, help us attract and retain top talent and position us to provide even better service for America’s professional truck drivers.”
Not only are techs eligible for a lifetime achievement bonus when they reach $500,000 in billed repair labor, but there’s also a second bonus waiting for them at the $1 million mark.
In addition, techs who have completed their Diesel Technician Apprenticeship Program can also receive an annual productivity bonus tied to their repair labor.
Love’s proudly claims to have the largest over-the-road workforce of diesel technicians and mechanics, with 10 new Truck Care locations opening just in the past year.
