Job Description

Norfolk, VA | Local + Regional Intermodal Freight Gross Earnings: Approximately $600–$1,000/day | $3,000–$5,000/week

HUDD Transportation is looking for experienced CDL-A Owner Operators for steady intermodal freight serving our Norfolk operation. Run a mix of local and regional freight with consistent volume, pre-dispatched loads, and opportunities throughout Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland.

What You Can Expect

  • Approximately 12–15 moves per week
  • Mix of local and higher-mileage regional freight
  • Pre-dispatched daily
  • Local and regional opportunities available
  • Earnings vary based on lane mix, volume, and availability
  • Strong focus on regional drivers able to operate across multiple states

The Work : You’ll handle intermodal container freight throughout the Mid-Atlantic, including:

  • Norfolk
  • Williamsburg
  • New Bern, NC
  • Grifton, NC
  • Brown Summit, NC
  • Greensboro, NC
  • Hagerstown, MD

Local drivers may complete multiple moves per day, while longer regional lanes are typically structured around distance and available hours

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Owner Operator with your own reliable tractor
  • Reliable equipment
  • Intermodal / port experience preferred
