Job Description

Heavy Haul Class A CDL Driver

To safely transport cargo between specified locations, maintaining compliance and readiness for multi-day trips, while facing various environmental conditions.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 23.
  • 1 1/2 years of verifiable driving experience.
  • Proficiency in English and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DOT Physical.
  • Can lift up to 50lbs.
  • Hazmat endorsement & TWIC card required.
  • Familiarity with FMCSR load securement rules.
  • Reliable transportation to work.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while driving.
  • Capable of climbing in and out of the truck and on/off an open deck trailer safely.
  • Competent in tarping loads and stowing tarps.
  • Engage in reaching, pulling, and pushing activities associated with securing, loading, and unloading cargo.
  • Work in various weather conditions during loading and unloading processes.
