California truck yard argument ends in fatal stabbing

A truck driver was killed during an argument at a California distribution center, CBSLA reported this month. Another truck driver, 47-year-old Miguel Viveros, has been arrested as the suspect.

Chino Police said they were called after 11 p.m. on Oct. 6 to the KeHE trucking distribution center on Bickmore Avenue. There, officers reportedly found a 61-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

When police arrested Viveros, he reportedly had a knife that is believed to be the murder weapon. He is being held at the West Valley Detention Center without bail.

CBSLA reported that Viveros and the 61-year-old were at the distribution center dropping off deliveries and got into a dispute. Detectives are still investigating the motives and circumstances of the murder.

Anyone with more information about the stabbing is asked to call Chino police Detective Sergeant Pry at (909) 334-3172.
