Canadian trucker honored for helping driver of truck that rolled

Many truck drivers are no strangers to road accidents and crashes. A trucker from Manitoba, Canada is being recognized for his recent efforts.

As reported by Trucker News the Truckload Carriers Association named Navdeep Singh, “a Highway Angel for rescuing an injured fellow truck driver whose vehicle ran off the side of the road and crashed”. He drives for CN Transportation Ltd. in Ontario, Canada.

He was headed westbound on Highway 2 in Starbuck, Manitoba when he witnessed a farm truck blow a tire and veer into a ditch. He was scared for the driver so he pulled over safely and ran to the accident. Multiple people stopped to help as they saw Singh helping the driver.

TCA presented him with a certificate, patches, a lapel pin and decals for his truck!
