Austin Dunaway, a CDL-A truck driver with Cardinal Logistics for five years, says his driving job offers something new to enjoy every day.
“I drive a 36-foot flatbed with a moffett hauling around building supply materials to homeowners, businesses, and new construction – all that,” says Dunaway. “I do love the flatbed job and riding the moffett. You get something new every day; it’s not just bumping docks or anything like that. You can get out and meet people, get a different route every day but get to be home every night, which is nice.”
Cardinal, known for its 100% dedicated truck driving routes, has local positions like Dunaway’s open now offering daily home time and average earnings of $85,000 per year plus a comprehensive benefits package.
“Cardinal offers amazing benefits,” Dunaway says. “It’s a very good company to work for.”
With over 175 locations around the country, Cardinal has a variety of opportunities to help truck drivers advance their careers through different dedicated routes. Cardinal Logistics says it believes that those who drive their trucks are people first and drivers second.
“Management is there for the drivers,” says Dunaway. “They show their appreciation. It’s more like a family place.”
Qualified drivers who join Cardinal Logistics now earn a $5,000 sign on bonus. To be qualified, candidates need their Class A CDL, 9 months tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years and be at least 21 years of age.
Cardinal Logistics is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
