Lincoln, NE – A trucking company in southern Lancaster County has investigators trying to determine what the fire was caused by. The fire occurred last Saturday morning when volunteering firefighters were called to the facility around 6:30 AM. The fire, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, was contained to the steel maintenance building on the property’s northwest corner. According to LSO, the fire caused $5,000 in damages to the building.

1011 Now reported that, “investigators believe sparks from one of the workers cutting something with a torch the night before caused the fire. Captain Trotter said fire investigators believe sparks got in the wall and spread.” No injuries were reported and the fire was put out by a little after 7 AM.
