What You Get

  • 12‑hour shifts with a consistent 60‑hour workweek
  • 48‑hour week every third week
  • Swing shift schedule (combination of 2 or 3 dayshift and 2 or 3 overnight shifts each week): Friday and Saturday (Dayshift), Sunday and Monday (Overnight) with a combination of tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday off
  • Home daily

About the Job

This is not typical trucking.

Locomotive fueling is a hands‑on job — 90–95% of the fueling work happens outside the truck sticking tanks, pulling hoses, and operating the fuel nozzle.

Because dispatches can occur at any time during your shift, you must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Class A CDL
  • Hazmat + Tanker endorsements. No Automatic Restriction-equipment is Manual
  • Ability to pass all background & drug testing
  • Able to work outdoors and climb locomotive steps
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
