Landstar Recognizes Drivers for Reaching Major Safe Driving Milestones

Landstar recognized its 2025 class of Million Mile Safe Drivers, Roadstar honorees, and Lifetime Achievement Award recipient during the 2026 BCO All-Star Celebration.

Landstar System recently recognized independent owner-operators for outstanding safety achievements during its 2026 BCO All-Star Celebration in Orlando, Florida, honoring drivers who have accumulated one million or more consecutive safe miles without a preventable accident.

The company also recognized its newest Roadstar honorees and presented its BCO Lifetime Achievement Award during the annual event.

More Than 100 Drivers Reached One Million Safe Miles

Landstar inducted 126 drivers into its Million Mile Safe Driver program as part of its 2025 class, including:

  • 101 One Million Mile Safe Drivers

  • 1 Four Million Mile Safe Driver

According to Landstar, each inductee achieved at least one million consecutive miles while leased to the company without a preventable accident.

The newest Four Million Mile Safe Driver is Arthur Trezise, becoming only the sixth driver in Landstar’s history to reach that milestone.

Roadstar Honors Recognize Excellence Beyond Safe Driving

In addition to the Million Mile Safe Driver program, Landstar recognized 11 independent owner-operators with its Roadstar designation, one of the company’s highest honors.

Roadstar recipients are selected from Landstar’s active Million Mile Safe Drivers based on their demonstrated commitment to safety, productivity, and customer service.

The 2025 Roadstar honorees are:

  • Vincent Bascone
  • Joseph Brooks
  • Dale Brown
  • Humberto Cano
  • Billie Gratz
  • James Grimes

Lifetime Achievement Award Presented to Frederick Foster

Landstar also presented its BCO Lifetime Achievement Award to Frederick Foster of Niles, Michigan.

According to Landstar, Foster specializes in heavy haul freight and the transportation of ammunition, arms, and explosives, earning recognition for his long-standing commitment to safety, security, and customer service.

Safety Continues to Be a Core Focus

Landstar President and CEO Frank Lonegro said reaching one million or more consecutive miles without a preventable accident represents an exceptional accomplishment.

“Achieving one million miles or more without a preventable accident is a rare milestone that reflects exceptional discipline, focus and a deep commitment to safety,” Lonegro said. “We are honored to recognize these independent owner-operators who exemplify our safety-first culture.”

Landstar said it now has more than 1,000 active Million Mile Safe Drivers across its network, reflecting the company’s continued emphasis on safe driving and professional excellence.
