Exciting news for truck drivers! The biggest Buc-ee’s yet is set to open its doors on June 10th in Luling, Texas. Located just off Interstate 10, this massive new store will be the largest Buc-ee’s in the nation.
Opening day kicks off at 6 a.m. CT, with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon to celebrate this momentous occasion.
The Luling Buc-ee’s spans over 75,000 square feet, making it the new record-holder for size. This store will replace the older Buc-ee’s in Luling, which has been serving travelers since 2003.
With 120 fueling stations and thousands of drink and snack options, this Buc-ee’s is sure to meet all your on-the-road needs.
“We are thrilled to open the doors to the world’s largest Buc-ee’s travel center right here in the Great State of Texas,” said Stan Beard, Buc-ee’s Director of Real Estate and Development.
What’s more, this new location just edges out the former largest Buc-ee’s in Sevierville, Tennessee, which opened in June 2023 and spans 74,000 square feet.
The Luling store will employ at least 200 people, offering wages well above minimum wage. Employees also enjoy full benefits, a 6% matching 401k plan, and three weeks of paid vacation.
This opening marks the 50th Buc-ee’s location across Texas and the South. Since its multi-state expansion began in 2019, Buc-ee’s has opened stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, and Colorado.
