Law enforcement isn’t always a truck driver’s favorite sight on the road, but for Yellow LTL Freight driver Anthony Perkins of Lewis Center, Ohio, these officers brought good news.
According to a Facebook post from Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), Perkins was honored by the OSHP’s Licensing and Commercial Standards division for driving 4 million miles without a preventable crash on May 3rd.
The event not only celebrated Perkins’ achievement and commitment to safety, but also allowed officers to raise awareness about commercial safety topics.
The post concluded on a high note, stating, “We applaud Anthony for his dedication and commitment to traffic safety.”
