If you’re planning to head to Louisville, Ky., for this year’s Mid America Trucking Show (MATS), there will be a lot to see. MATS, set for March 24-26 at the Kentucky Exposition Center, is marking its 50th anniversary with plans that include 40+ education sessions, a truck beauty championship, a veterans in trucking salute, and a free country music concert to name a few of the highlights.

First, if you’ve never been, get ready to see exhibits of the latest technologies and innovations in equipment, products and services, trucking gadgets, career opportunities, clothes and swag, and much more. With more than 1,000 exhibitors, you will join about 75,000 of your fellow transportation industry colleagues at what is considered the largest annual trucking event in the world.

Next, beyond the stuff for you to stuff in your swag bag, there are plenty of events and activities to keep you busy. The PKY Truck Beauty Championship showcases some of the coolest custom trucks you’ll see this year. Interested in showing your truck? Check out the details here.

Following Friday’s session show, attendees are invited to the official MATS Concert featuring multi-platinum country music artist Clay Walker. The free concert will be held in Freedom Hall of the Kentucky Expo Center on March 25 at 7 pm EDT.
