Road trip: What to see at the Mid America Trucking Show

If you’re planning to head to Louisville, Ky., for this year’s Mid America Trucking Show (MATS), there will be a lot to see. MATS, set for March 24-26 at the Kentucky Exposition Center, is marking its 50th anniversary with plans that include 40+ education sessions, a truck beauty championship, a veterans in trucking salute, and a free country music concert to name a few of the highlights.

First, if you’ve never been, get ready to see exhibits of the latest technologies and innovations in equipment, products and services, trucking gadgets, career opportunities, clothes and swag, and much more. With more than 1,000 exhibitors, you will join about 75,000 of your fellow transportation industry colleagues at what is considered the largest annual trucking event in the world.

Following Friday’s session show, attendees are invited to the official MATS Concert featuring multi-platinum country music artist Clay Walker. The free concert will be held in Freedom Hall of the Kentucky Expo Center on March 25 at 7 pm EDT.
