TravelCenters of America is kicking off its annual Round Up campaign to support the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund (SCF).
From Friday, May 24 until July 31, customers can choose to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar. The additional funds collected will directly aid truck drivers who are unable to work due to illness or injury. Last year, the campaign successfully raised more than $120,000.
Since 2010, TravelCenters of America has gathered over $3 million for SCF through various campaigns and initiatives.
” This organization is an invaluable safety net for professional drivers when they’re experiencing a difficult time in their life,” said Debi Boffa, TA CEO. “We are grateful to our generous guests who recognize the value SCF brings to these incredibly hard-working men and women during their time of need.”
In addition to financial support for drivers facing hardships, SCF offers numerous other benefits for the trucker community, including programs to quit smoking, health and wellness advice, free vaccinations, and cancer screening tests.
