Finding a safe spot to park a rig is one of the biggest headaches on the road. Truck Parking Club says they’re working to fix that problem in a big way, and their network just hit a major milestone.
The company now has more than 3,000 private parking locations available for drivers and fleets. Those spots span 49 states and total more than 51,000 reservable spaces. What’s getting attention in the trucking world is how fast the platform is growing — it jumped from 2,000 to 3,000 locations in only four months.
Co-founder and CEO Evan Shelley says the mission goes beyond just finding a place to park. “We’re solving the parking shortage and proving that parking itself is a strategic operational tool,” said Shelley. “Whether it’s a driver who needs safe overnight parking, a fleet executing drop trailer programs, or a company reducing liability by eliminating ramp parking, we’re the flexible parking partner that adapts to every need.”
Drivers can reserve spots by the hour, day, week, or month using the company’s website or mobile app. Customer support is available 24 hours a day and is staffed by former drivers who understand the realities of running out of hours or searching for a safe place to shut down.
With parking becoming increasingly scarce in busy freight areas, many truckers are starting to treat parking reservations in the same way they plan fuel stops or delivery schedules. Platforms like this give drivers more control over their downtime and help fleets cut back on parking-related fines and delays.
If the Truck Parking Club keeps expanding at this pace, finding a legal parking spot might finally become one less thing to stress about when the clock is running low.
