Meet Carmen Anderson, a professional truck driver from Wisconsin with more than 21 years on the road with over 2 million accident-free miles. She is committed to serving others, especially by helping bring awareness to the Special Olympics. Anderson has been named a Women in Trucking Top Women to Watch in Transportation as well as Truck Driver of the year by the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association. Her efforts don’t stop at Special Olympics. She has also helped with the promotion of highway safety as a member of the WMCA Road Team. In addition, she is actively involved with the Truckers Against Trafficking and the Trucker Buddy programs.
Due to all her efforts on and off the road, she was gifted with the keys to a new Volvo VNL760 7—inch sleeper. It was also specially wrapped to showcase the Special Olympics and raise awareness. She was gifted at the headquarters of America’s Service Line (ASL) where she is working as a company driver. Volvo is also known for having safe and high performing trucks with technology that is up to date. This will be a great way for Carmen to continue her efforts while on the road.
