Redefining the Road magazine, the official publication of the Women In Trucking Association, has revealed the winners of the prestigious “Top Companies for Women to Work For in Transportation” designation.

This award, established in 2018, aims to recognize companies that prioritize employing women in the trucking industry, according to Jennifer Hedrick, President and CEO of WIT.

The selected companies have been chosen based on several factors, including a corporate culture that promotes gender diversity, competitive compensation and benefits, flexible work hours and requirements, professional development opportunities, and career advancement prospects. In addition, they must meet the minimum requirements set by the WIT Index, an industry benchmark that measures the percentage of women in critical transportation roles.

The honorees will be acknowledged during the upcoming WIT Accelerate! Conference & Expo in Dallas from November 5th to 8th. This year’s program is sponsored by Navistar.
