Mack Trucks, Inc. has initiated a recall affecting certain 2024-2025 models of its Anthem, Granite, and Pinnacle truck lines that are equipped with RollTek driver’s seat assemblies. The recall pertains to a total of 242 vehicles where the attachment of the seat pedestal and seat belt may have been inadequately secured.

The potential risk involves insufficient tightening of the seat pedestal and seat belt coupling, which could jeopardize the safety of passengers by failing to hold them securely during operation.

To rectify this situation, authorized dealers will inspect and replace the seat pedestal along with ensuring that all attachment bolts are securely tightened, free of charge to truck owners. Notifications are scheduled to be dispatched by September 27. For inquiries, truck owners are encouraged to contact Mack customer service at 1-800-866-1177 using recall number SC0469. For more information, the NHTSA reference number is 24V-567.

Owners also have the option to reach the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or visit www.safercar.gov for further assistance.
