Love’s Travel Stops has added a new location in Mandeville, Louisiana, bringing much-needed truck parking and amenities to the Interstate 12 corridor. This marks the company’s first stop along I‑12, filling a gap along the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain.
The new location sits at exit 68 on Wadsworth Parkway and provides 125 truck parking spaces, along with additional spots for bobtails and drivers looking to rest.
Fresh Food and Convenience
The Mandeville store features a variety of freshly prepared food options, including sandwiches, salads, wraps, and fresh-cut fruit made daily on-site. Fast casual offerings include Godfather’s Pizza and Hardee’s.
Truck facilities are designed with long-haul needs in mind:
- Eight diesel bays
- Nine bobtail parking spaces
- Seven showers
- Laundry facilities
- Dog park
- CAT Scales
- Love’s fresh food items
The location also includes space reserved for EV charging stations, allowing for rapid installation if customer demand grows.
Community Support
In celebration of the grand opening, Love’s will make donations totaling $10,000 to local organizations:
- $2,500 to Lakeshore High School
- $2,500 to the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Louisiana
- $5,000 to the Manning Family Children’s Hospital
This addition provides more options for drivers and travelers along I-12, combining parking capacity, on-site amenities, and community engagement.
