Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (no automatic restriction) to join our elite team fueling locomotives. This night‑shift, home‑daily position offers consistent full‑time hours, weekly pay, and year‑round stability — no seasonal slowdowns.

You’ll be paid for the entire 12‑hour shift, including breaks, lunch, and dispatch wait time.   • Annual Salary: $61,984+
  • Paid Weekly
  • Rotating Schedule: 48 hours one week / 36 hours the next
    • Approx. $1,352 (48‑hr week)
    • Approx. $936 (36‑hr week)
  • Set Night Schedule: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
    • Week A: Work 4 days / Off Sun, Mon, Tue
    • Week B: Work 3 days / Off Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed
  • Home Daily
  • Paid for full 12‑hour shift (including wait and dispatch time)
  • Overtime after 40 hours
  • Manual transmission tractor with tanker (10‑speed)

Job Duties

  • Operate as a mobile fueling station for the railroad
  • Haul and deliver fuel using a tractor‑trailer tanker
  • Work on an on‑call basis during your shift
    • You are paid for the full shift regardless of the number of dispatches

What You Need to Bring

  • CDL Class A
  • Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements
  • No automatic restriction (manual experience required)
  • Tractor‑trailer driving experience
    (Hazmat hauling experience not required)
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and company background checks
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
  • Strong communication and time‑management skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb frequently
  • Walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
  • Climb in and out of truck cab multiple times per shift
  • Climb ladders or steps 10+ times per day
  • Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Comfortable working with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials
