Woodland Fire Department responded to an accident on Interstate 5 in Sacramento, California on June 28, 2022. Rescue workers arrived to find a Brinks armored truck dangling on side of Interstate 5.
According to California Highway Patrol, the driver was traveling too fast and rear-ended another vehicle. The Brinks truck then went through the guardrail only to be stopped by a concrete barrier.
While tow trucks held the armored truck in place, Woodland Firemen safely rescued the driver with their ladder truck.
