Mobile, Alabama’s port has become a busy place with shipping container traffic increasing at double and triple digits. Port Authority reported April 2022 had an increase in container volume of 39.7% from last year. The intermodal container transfer facility had a 112.6% increase in activity and 57.9% increase in refrigerated cargo from the prior year.
