Are you excited for the spooky season?! Summer is over and we are entering fall which means, pumpkin spice lattes, state fairs and HAUNTED HOUSES! We put a list together of some of the scariest Haunted Houses across the country that will knock your socks off!

The Whaley House Museum: San Diego, California

This house is built on a crime scene were a man named James “Yankee Jim” Robinson was hung to death. James’s ghost sure enough showed up after some years.

House of Death: New York City, New York

The House of Death on West 10th Street is said to have ghosts of 22 people who lived or died within the walls, including a young 6-year-old girl.

Villisca Axe Murder House: Villisca, Iowa

The site of a crime scene where a family and friends lost their lives. After 110 years, sightings of their ghosts are still being reported. It’s said they are yearning for justice.

Bell Witch Cave: Adams, Tennessee

John Bell bought a tract of farmland for his family that was later ambushed by unseen forces after seeing strange animals on their land. They experienced physical attacks, heard unexplained noises, and even spoke with the “entity.”

Biltmore: Asheville, North Carolina

George Washington Vanderbilt II built this stately vacation home in the 1800s. Since then, it has gained a reputation for being one of the most haunted places in North Carolina and the country.
