One of the most dangerous highways in the Arkansas / Louisiana / Texas area is Texas State Highway 315, which connects Carthage and Mount Enterprise. According to the Texas Department of Labor (TxDOT), 462 crashes with hundreds of injuries and 36 deaths have taken place on 315 since 2012.
Crash records from past accidents on Hwy 315 from TxDOT show that in every fatal crash involving 18-wheelers, driver fatigue, speed or traveling in the wrong lane factored into the cause of the accident. 18-wheelers have been involved in 25% of all accidents on Highway 315.
