The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) recently delisted 10 electronic logging devices (ELDs) from its approved list.
For those affiliated with the OOIDA 50/50 membership and utilizing the now-banned ELDs, the following steps must be taken:
- Cease the use of the revoked ELDs immediately, shifting to either paper logs or alternative logging software for recording necessary hours of service data.
- Prior to Jan. 30, 2024, replace the delisted ELDs with compliant alternatives listed in the Registered Devices inventory.
The affected devices are:
- CI ELD LOGS, model number CILGS, by CV Options LLC
- ELD 2 GO, model number GOMAX, by ELD 2 GO
- ELD4TRUCKING, model number ERS, by ELD4TRUCKING LLC
- ELOG365, model number ERS by EZ ELD Solutions Inc.
- GOLDEN ELD, model number GRS, by GOLDEN ELD
- POWERTRUCKS ELD, model number PRS, by Mirian Support LLC
- STEER RIGHT ELD, model number STRID, by STEER RIGHT LLC
- TruckX-ELD, model number XELD, by TruckX Inc.
- TST 1 ELD, model number TRS, by TST GROUP INC.
- WORLD TRUCKING ELD, model number WRS, by WORLD TRUCKING LLC
