Love’s Travel Stops has recently commenced its $1 billion Strategic Remodel Initiative, with plans to update 200 locations across the nation over the next five years. In a statement issued by the company they shared their intention to invest anywhere from $2-$7 million per location.

Its remodeling efforts are transforming each location into a modern oasis with open-kitchen concepts, multiple restaurant options, and updated Love’s Truck Care and Speedco locations. As if that weren’t enough for weary travelers on the road, some lucky spots will even get an added bonus – their very own dog parks.

“Investing in existing locations is another way Love’s prioritizes creating a first-class experience for customers,” said Randy Swain, director of construction and remodels for Love’s. “Being strategic with how we update existing locations – and keeping them open during the process – strengthens Love’s commitment to getting customers back on the road quickly.”

Love’s is implementing a Strategic Remodel Initiative to ensure all of their locations meet the highest standards. This comprehensive approach takes into account key factors such as foot traffic, sales, and store age to identify which sites need updating first. They are beginning this venture with two stores – El Paso, Texas and Columbia, Tennessee – so customers visiting those spots can look forward to an improved shopping experience soon.

Love’s is taking their remodel initiative to the next level this year, with three locations undergoing a complete teardown and rebuild. The groundbreaking process will result in an updated look for customers upon reopening – think expanded footprints, refreshed designs, and totally new feels! Two cities have already seen such renovations; Oklahoma City as well as Gary, Indiana just reopened in February after complete tear downs and rebuilds.

In addition to scheduled remodels, the company also plans to open 25 new locations in 2023.
