Women make a positive difference in the trucking industry every day. Women in Trucking is a great organization that salutes these women by recognizing those who make or influence key decisions in a corporate, manufacturing, supplier, owner-operator, driver, sales or dealership setting.
According to the the Women in Trucking site, WIT and Daimler Truck North America are seeking nominations for the 2022 Influential Woman in Trucking Award. “Women continue to make their mark in the trucking industry,” said Ellen Voie, president and CEO, Women In Trucking. “It is a privilege to share their stories and inspire others through this award.”
The winner will be announced at the 2022 Accelerate! Conference & Expo held November 13-16 in Dallas, Texas. The finalists will be asked to serve on the Influential Women in Trucking panel discussion followed by the winner announcement. Those that nominate a candidate need to ask the nominee to save the date for this event if she is named a finalist.
