CDL-A Drivers – Intermodal

Chicago / Elwood, IL | Home Daily | Local & Regional Rail Freight

About $6,000 Typical Weekly Pay

HUDD Transportation is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers for steady rail freight out of the Chicago/Elwood market. Run 20–30 moves per week with home-daily lanes, pre-dispatched freight, and a mix of local and regional opportunities.

What You Can Expect

  • $175–$220 approximately per move
  • About $1,200 per day
  • 20–30 moves per week
  • Typically 3–5 moves per day

  • All empty and loaded miles paid

The freight mix includes Chicago-Elwood crosstowns, I-55 corridor freight, rail ramp-to-ramp moves, and rail-to-customer deliveries, with opportunities extending throughout the surrounding Midwest.
