Job Description

JBS Carriers is a leading multi-state and regional truckload carrier specializing in refrigerated and non-refrigerated freight, including live haul (cattle, hogs and poultry), tankers, container chassis and grain hoppers. Southeast – GA Dedicated Hauls

Driver Pay Rates:

  • $200 – $230 per day, depending on experience
  • Paid Lumpers: Some driver unload available but not mandatory
  • Breakdown Pay: $12/hour (after 4 hours in shop, up to 10 hours).

Up to a $3,100 bonus per driver referral:

  • $50 every week of your referred driver’s first year
  • $500 bonus when your referred driver hits 3-months

Work & Route:

  • Running Region– Within 250-300 miles of Pilgrim’s plant operations in each location.
  • Plant Locations: Live Oak, FL
  • Hours and Days: 8 to 14 hours a day; Length of day varies depending on plant needs, plant changes and driver capacity.
  • Start Times: Vary by location
  • Average Miles: 1,100/week
  • Home Time Home most nights, may be out 1-2 nights per week.

CDL-A Shuttle/Short-haul/Local Truck Driver Requirements:

  • At least 21 years old
  • CDL-A with 1 year tractor trailer experience
  • Must have 48’-53′ tractor trailer experience
  • Mentor and Training programs are available for drivers with less than 1 year of experience
