Job Description

Truck Driver (CDL-A Owner Operator) – Intermodal

Memphis, TN | Local + Regional Intermodal Freight

Gross Earnings: Approximately $2,000–$4,000/week

HUDD Transportation is looking for experienced CDL-A Owner Operators for steady intermodal freight serving our Memphis operation. Run a mix of local and regional freight with pre-dispatched loads, multiple daily-turn opportunities, and mostly home-daily routes.

What You Can Expect

  • Approximately $2,000–$4,000 gross per week
  • Local drivers typically complete 2–3 turns per day
  • Up to 4 local turns on some days
  • Regional drivers typically complete 1 run per day
  • Pre-dispatched freight
  • Mostly home daily
  • Earnings vary based on lane, volume, and how much you choose to run

You’ll handle intermodal container freight throughout the Memphis market and surrounding region.

  • Local Memphis-area freight
  • Regional interstate opportunities
  • Overweight freight available
  • HAZMAT freight available
  • Longer regional runs, including Garden City, GA

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Owner Operator with your own reliable tractor
  • Reliable equipment
  • Intermodal / container experience preferred
  • Apportioned plates required
  • IFTA required
  • Ability to operate across state lines
  • Ability to handle overweight and HAZMAT freight when applicable
