Nevada DOT Wants Truck Drivers to Share Their Parking Needs

Nevada DOT is asking truck drivers and carriers to complete a short survey to help improve truck parking needs across the state for the 2026 State Freight Plan Update.

Truck drivers running through Nevada know how challenging it can be to find safe places to park. The Nevada Department of Transportation is asking drivers and carriers to share their real experiences so the state can better plan for future parking access.

In a recent Facebook post, NDOT said, “Nevada’s freight network keeps our state moving, and we want to hear from the people who keep goods on the road. NDOT is asking commercial drivers and carriers to take a short survey about truck parking needs across Nevada.

“Your feedback will shape the 2026 State Freight Plan Update and help guide future planning for safe and reliable parking.”

NDOT reports that the survey takes about five to seven minutes. Drivers and carriers are being asked to complete it by Monday, Dec. 15.

The survey link is provided here so drivers can share their input directly through NDOT.
