Police: Man shot at truck driver during road rage incident in Nashville

A 29-year-old man was arrested in Nashville after he reportedly shot at a truck driver during a road rage incident, WZTV reported.

Jose Perez was charged with aggravated assault for the shooting and is being held in Davidson County on a $75,000 bond.

Nashville Metro Police say Perez and the semi-truck collided on Interstate 24 on the evening of Oct. 23. They were stopped on the road after the crash when the shooting happened. Perez reportedly told detectives that he shot at the truck’s driver’s side door, trying to hit the driver.

Luckily, the truck driver suffered only minor injuries to his face from the shattered glass on his window. But police said they found three bullet holes on the truck’s cab.
