Southern Recipe’s Commitment to the St. Christopher Fund

Southern Recipe is once again showing their appreciation for truck drivers during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. This year, they are donating $7,500 to the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund, with an additional $5,000 from Rudolph Foods going directly to the organization’s trucker wellness programs.

The focus of this campaign is to bring attention to the truck driving community and raise awareness about the importance of truck driver well-being. Throughout August and into Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Southern Recipe is encouraging drivers to take advantage of the free health screenings and services offered on the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund website.

In addition to their generous donations, Southern Recipe is actively promoting the free health programs available to truckers, including Rigs Without Cigs and the Diabetes Prevention Program. They are also inviting their fans to get involved by participating in the “Tune Up Challenge” on social media, spreading the word about the wellness programs provided by the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund.

For every share of the “Tune Up Challenge,” participants have a chance to win free products from Southern Recipe. And for every trucker who signs up for a program on the SCF website, they will be entered to win a free case of pork rinds.

“Everything we do, and everything we buy, is touched by a truck driver. Every year, we strive to support drivers as best we can,” shared Mark Singleton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Southern Recipe and Rudolph Foods. “These men and women help fuel our families with food and comfort. We’ve been celebrating these important road heroes for more than a decade now, with our incredible charity partner, the St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund.”
