The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) is thrilled to unveil its groundbreaking Elite Fleet Certification Program. In partnership with the University of Denver’s Transportation and Supply Chain Institute, this initiative is designed to recognize North America’s for-hire carriers that demonstrate excellence in creating exceptional work environments, providing competitive compensation, and fostering innovative practices for their drivers.

What is the Elite Fleet Certification Program?

This unique certification focuses on identifying and celebrating premier workplaces within the truckload sector, placing emphasis on driver satisfaction and progressive company policies.

How the Program Operates

Participants will undergo a thorough evaluation based on a combination of detailed company metrics and driver-oriented initiatives. Metrics examined will include safety measures, operational effectiveness, remuneration structures, employee benefits, quality of life considerations, and applications of technology. To substantiate these assessments, drivers and independent contractors will complete surveys sharing their experiences and feedback.

Eligibility for Participation

The program is accessible to all TCA for-hire carrier members, provided that enrollment is executed by a company employee. Please note that the deadline for enrollment is October 18.

Essential Dates to Remember

  • End of Enrollment: October 18, 2024
  • Announcement of Certified Fleets: January 22, 2025
