Commuters in Arvada, Colo., encountered an unusual hitch in traffic March 18 when a trailer carrying beer collapsed while on I-76 and Wadsworth.
The Arvada Police Department told CBS 4 Denver that the trailer was improperly loaded with the brews which caused it to give way under the weight. Interstate 76 was closed for hours after the morning commute.
“There was a full closure for 4 hours after rush hour. Too much beer is never a good thing,” APD said.
