Fintech company Relay Payments, which collaborates with logistics in the trucking industry, has announced its continued support for Wreaths Across America. This is the second year in a row Fintech has supported the Wreaths Across America movement.

Relay is contributing $5,000 worth of fuel to show their support and offset expenses for owner operators who participate in Wreaths Across America’s Honor Fleet. This fleet is made up of hundreds of professional, passionate, and selfless drivers and carriers who generously volunteer their time and trucks to deliver wreaths, honoring our nation’s fallen heroes.

Additionally, Relay is providing $20,000 in fuel discounts to be in the gift bags, which will be given to the Honor Fleet drivers.

“We are forever grateful to our country’s veterans and their families who have given the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom,” said Ryan Droege, Relay’s co-founder and CEO. “It’s an honor and a privilege to support drivers of the Honor Fleet as they contribute their own time and equipment to distribute wreaths across the country.”

In 2022, volunteers from across the country supported Wreaths Across America, placing more than 2.7 million wreaths on the headstones of service members across 3,702 locations nationwide. This significant achievement was made possible with the assistance of over 5,000 sponsorship groups, corporate contributions, and donations, all from the transportation industry. The possibilities for this year’s wreath-laying are endless, thanks to the generosity of companies like Relay and the commitment of those participating in the Honor Fleet.

“This year, our transportation partners will assist us in delivering close to three million sponsored veterans’ wreaths to be placed on the headstones of our fallen heroes all over the country on Dec. 16,” said Courtney George, Wreaths Across America’s manager of transportation and industry relations. “We’re grateful to Relay for their support of our Honor Fleet drivers, who are giving back in recognition of the sacrifice our veterans make every day.”

Wreaths Across America encourages residents to extend their gratitude by greeting the drivers with signs and flags as they deliver veterans’ wreaths. This presents an opportunity to express appreciation not only to the professional drivers but also to military personnel, first responders, and local volunteers.
