Beloit, WI., [August, 2021] – Blackhawk Transport, a Dedicated Private Fleet Replacement provider based in Beloit, WI, continues its incredible growth with a driver centered approach. The company launched their Dedicated/Private Fleet Replacement service offering in 2011 with 93 drivers and has since grown to over 700 drivers across 48 locations, 11 of which were added in 2021.

As shippers have felt the capacity shortage, Blackhawk has focused expanding its footprint with a variety of Dedicated Local and Regional Private Fleet Replacement accounts, accommodating the new business by attracting and hiring new drivers.

This year Blackhawk announced double-digit driver pay increases across the country with annual wage increases in states including Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Florida, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Ohio. Blackhawk’s strategic customer relationships have provided opportunities to support $85K+ compensation for W2 company drivers.

President and CEO, Mike Holloway, notes “Our goal is to provide our drivers with a variety of dedicated account choices significantly above the average W2s for the area, thereby elevating driver retention, safety, and customer service.”

Blackhawk is already known for their exceptional employee benefits including a PPO through Blue Cross/Blue Shield, while most competitors offer an HMO. Blackhawk employees also enjoy a low $1,500 deductible in comparison to the typical $3-5K. These stand-out benefits are offered at no cost to the employee and at $360 to $420 lower premium for family plans than their major competitors.

Blackhawk’s driver-first strategy has earned them incredible success as they continue to grow and develop their teams with skilled drivers across the country.
