Did you get a free meal yet this week? With National Truck Driver Appreciation Week finally here, there are many opportunities for truckers to feel appreciated! From free meals, extra reward points, raffles and much more. F-M Transportation Club, North Dakota Motor Carriers Association, and the North Dakota Department of Transportation have teamed up to give truckers a free lunch this week. The President of F-M Transportation Club believes, “Truck drivers are the backbone of America.”

They have set up their free lunches at a weigh station on I-94. Drivers pull into the weigh station expecting to get weighed and checked, but that is not what’s happening this week. Sandwiches, chips, cookies, and water are being handed out to those eastbound and down. 44 businesses got together to raise $4,500 for the meals. The Highway Patrol assisted by manning the station
