Relay Payments, a company with years of experience specializing in facilitating payments within the trucking and logistics industries, has recently launched a new payment option aimed at enhancing payment processes for carriers and drivers.  This new development allows for seamless and efficient payment transactions by allowing fleets to use their Relay accounts in the CAT Scale Weigh My Truck app.

“We’re committed to being a fully digital, end-to-end payments provider for trucking,” said Emily Neuman, Relay’s EVP of operations. “Integrating with some of the most popular options to pay for scales allows drivers to use Relay to pay for all over-the-road expenses while easily monitoring their cash flow. We have thousands of customers who now use Relay for fuel, unloading, broker, and scale payments.”

Drivers can now conveniently use Relay to cover fees at over 2,200 locations nationwide. Carriers stand to benefit significantly from this development as well, as they can use existing Relay accounts to streamline a variety of over-the-road transactions, including fuel, lumper fees, scales, cash, and more. This consolidation of payment methods not only simplifies back-office management processes but also encourages unified reporting for carriers.

“We are pleased that Relay Payments customers can now use their account for Weigh My Truck transactions and realize the significant time savings it offers,” said Heather DeBaillie, VP of operations and marketing for CAT Scale.

Relay initially introduced its digital payment solution in 2019, and since then, its payment network has continued to expand rapidly. Today, fleets can rely on Relay for fast and secure payments related to fuel, unloading, scales, and other over-the-road expenses across the country. Relay has gained the trust of over 350,000 drivers, 90,000 carriers, and more than 1,500 truck stops.
